This Policy does not control the independent privacy practices of brokers, payment providers, VPS providers, MetaTrader, Myfxbook, copy trading platforms, Telegram, or other external services.

We may also process information required to prevent fraud, investigate unauthorised licence use, comply with law, or protect the website and clients.

04

Information ActiveTrader Does Not Need

For normal product activation and support, ActiveTrader does not need and does not ask you to provide:

  • your broker master or trading password;
  • your broker withdrawal password or PIN;
  • your email password;
  • your online-banking password;
  • your full payment-card number, CVV, or card PIN;
  • your permanent VPS administrator password; or
  • seed phrases, private keys, or cryptocurrency-wallet credentials.
Do not send these credentials through email, Telegram, website forms, or support messages. If they are sent accidentally, change them immediately and notify the relevant service provider.
05

How We Collect Personal Data

Personal data may be collected:

  • directly from you through forms, checkout, email, Telegram, phone, or support;
  • automatically through website, login, cookie, server, error, and security logs;
  • from payment processors when they confirm transaction status;
  • from WooCommerce and WordPress functions used to process accounts and orders;
  • from the purchaser, company administrator, or authorised representative managing a Corporate licence;
  • from publicly available sources where necessary to verify a fraud, security, ownership, or legal issue; or
  • from a service provider acting under appropriate instructions or its own lawful responsibility.
06

Why We Process Personal Data

We may process personal data for the following purposes:

  • creating and maintaining Client Portal accounts;
  • processing orders, payments, invoices, and downloadable products;
  • confirming purchaser identity and authority;
  • activating, verifying, replacing, protecting, or suspending licences;
  • providing installation, product, and technical support;
  • responding to complaints, refund requests, privacy requests, and legal notices;
  • sending transactional notices, security messages, licence information, and product updates;
  • maintaining website performance, availability, backups, and security;
  • detecting fraud, chargeback abuse, unauthorised sharing, malware, and security threats;
  • keeping accounting, tax, audit, and business records;
  • improving documentation, support quality, and service design using appropriate data; and
  • meeting legal, regulatory, court, or law-enforcement obligations.
07

Lawful Grounds for Processing

Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing may be based on:

  • your consent, such as optional marketing or non-essential cookies;
  • the need to enter into or perform a contract, including an order, delivery, activation, or support request;
  • compliance with a legal obligation;
  • the protection of vital interests where applicable;
  • the performance of a task permitted by applicable law; or
  • a legitimate and proportionate business interest, such as security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and legal-claim management, where permitted and balanced against your rights.

Where consent is the applicable basis, you may withdraw consent for future processing. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful and may not affect processing required for an existing contract or legal obligation.

08

Licence and Account-Activation Data

ActiveTrader may maintain a licence record containing the approved account number, broker, server, product, licence type, quota, activation status, activation date, and eligible replacement history.

This data is used to:

  • verify that the product is used within the purchased licence capacity;
  • distinguish Personal, Corporate, real, and demo activations;
  • process an eligible Corporate account replacement;
  • investigate unauthorised sharing or activation errors; and
  • provide support and maintain purchase records.

ActiveTrader does not need to store your broker master password or withdrawal credential for normal licence operation.

09

Orders, Payments, and WooCommerce

Orders and Client Portal functions may be processed through WordPress and WooCommerce. Payment processing may be completed by an independent payment provider.

ActiveTrader may receive payment status, transaction reference, payer details, amount, currency, fraud-screening result, or other information necessary to confirm the order. Raw payment-card credentials are normally entered into and processed by the payment provider rather than stored directly by ActiveTrader.

Payment providers act according to their own security, retention, legal, and privacy obligations.

10

Website Data, Cookies, and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for:

  • essential website, shopping-cart, checkout, login, and security functions;
  • remembering preferences and session status;
  • fraud prevention and abuse detection;
  • measuring website performance and errors;
  • analytics, where configured; and
  • marketing or embedded third-party content, only where used and legally permitted.

Essential cookies may be necessary for the website or Client Portal to function. Where required, a cookie tool may allow you to accept, reject, or adjust non-essential categories.

Browser settings may also allow you to block or delete cookies, but doing so can affect cart, login, checkout, language, or security functions.

11

Transactional and Marketing Communications

Transactional or service messages may include order confirmations, invoices, download notices, licence activation, security warnings, support replies, maintenance notices, and material product information.

Optional marketing messages may include product news, educational content, offers, or general updates. You may withdraw marketing consent or use an unsubscribe method where available.

Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transactional, contractual, security, or legal communications.

12

No internet, website, email, cloud, broker, VPS, or payment system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for using strong passwords, protecting your devices, and avoiding credential sharing.

16

Personal Data Incident Response

If ActiveTrader becomes aware of a personal-data incident, it may investigate the event, contain the issue, preserve relevant evidence, restore affected services, assess the risk, and take corrective measures.

Affected individuals and competent authorities will be notified where and within the period required by applicable law, taking into account the nature, scope, context, and likely consequences of the incident.

If you suspect unauthorised access to your Client Portal account, order, licence, email, or support communication, contact ActiveTrader promptly and change the affected password.

How to Submit a Privacy Request

Send a privacy request to support@activetrader.co.id with the subject “Privacy Request”.

To protect your data, we may request reasonable verification of identity, account ownership, authority, or the scope of the request. Do not send a broker master password, banking password, or full payment-card credential.

We will review and respond within the period required by applicable law. A complex, repetitive, excessive, fraudulent, or third-party request may require clarification or may be limited as permitted by law.
